Anime Head Trip: Subtitles, Chatbox, Tokikake, Neko Cafes, Mobile Maid Cafes, CLAMP Studio Tour, Manglish, Anime Tamagochis, HAL&BONS and more…

Subtitles:

So what’s with the upside down inverted ‘insert random European language here’ subtitles? How can someone fuck up that badly?

Chatbox:

I could add one, but at the moment I recon it would just be full of me saying things along the lines of “Stop spamming my blog with comments trying to sell drugs, I’ll just delete them…after I note down the web pages…” Sheesh. ;)

Tokikake:

This time travelling anime film trailer looks interesting. Something about a time rip? Website here. :)

Neko Cafes:

These cat manga Neko no Akubi and Nekodama are clearly the manga to read here. All you need is a basket of kittens to carry with you. *Meow*.

Mobile Maid Cafes:

I’m sure Mobile Maids would make fantastic bank robbers. Noone would suspect them to be hiding weapons under those frocks…it’d make a great anime film!

CLAMP Studio Tour:

In the Youtube video I expected them to work all in one room, their little offices seems so clinical, but you do see a sketch of a Mokona, kawai!

Manglish:

This is a great. When I put my cursur over the speech bubbles it didn’t infact read ‘HAHA you can’t read Japanese!’…which was a bonus.

Drawn Together:

Ling Ling, the best non-anime anime chracter ever! Revenge!

Tamagochi:

I got thinking about which anime animal chracter I’d like to raise as a tamagochi, if they were still ‘cool’. A little baby Uruno from ‘Damekko Doubutsu’ perhaps, or Celcia from ‘Those Who Hunt Elves’.

HAL&BONS:

What IS this madness?!

Non-Anime related cool stuff:

Gackt, Crotch Splitting Device:

Funny video from the interview show Utaban. It’s still funny the third time you watch it, maybe less if you’re a guy! *^_^*

The XBOX 360 advert:

If you haven’t seen this, it’s funny!

The Essense Of Rabbit:

Hundreds upon hundred of bunny pictures! Well i think it’s cute…stop laughing! :P

  1. Agreed, Manglish is a great idea.. the translation size is a little large tho (but perhaps that’s browser specific)

Be nice if that could somehow become a standard format for scanlations, but still viewable without html (coz man, sometimes there’s just no way they can fit it all into those speech bubbles)

  2. ahaha great minds think alike, I thought the Manglish thing was great so stuck it up. Maybe we could even something similar for one of our manga books….
